Deni started her career in art over 30 years ago as a functional potter, then moved on to video production and cake decorating. After living full time with her husband on a sailboat in the Caribbean, they re-located to Fernandina Beach, Florida.
I’m inspired by the “low country” natural environment full of marshes, tidal creeks, wildlife and the ocean, and draw from my surroundings. I enjoy interpreting those influences in my encaustic paintings.
